Flash mob hits the big screen!
November 10, 2011
In the summer term Yorkshire Young Dancers (Contemporary Strand) performed a flash mob in Leeds city centre as part of the Breeze International Youth Festival. The performance was so well received it has since been showing on the Big Screen in Millennium Square in Leeds, through BBC North.
Tracy Witney, CAT Manager at NSCD said “We had great fun doing the surprise flash mob in the centre of town, but it seemed to be over so quickly. It is great that the BBC has been replaying it on the Big Screen in Leeds, showing more members of the community how fun and exhilarating dance can be!”
The aim of the scheme is to help identify, and assist, children with exceptional potential, regardless of their personal circumstances, to benefit from world-class specialist training as part of a broad and balanced education.
