The Audition Toolkit sessions offered by NSCD will provide experience of the first-round online audition that we will run as part of our updated 2020-21 audition process. In the 2-hour session, participants will be lead through a virtual creative icebreaker task, followed by the learning and refining of 2 contemporary phrases. The physical sessions will then be followed by an opportunity to speak directly to the tutors about the process.

N.B. In the official audition process participants will have the opportunity to view and pre-learn some contemporary movement phrases but, in this session, material will be delivered ‘new’.

Trinity Laban Audition Toolkit

Thursday 29 October 

10am – 1.30pm

The Trinity Laban (TL) practical sessions aim to offer CAT students skills and advice about this year’s TL online audition process. Each student will receive a one hour digital ballet, contemporary and creative class taught by TL faculty members, where they will have the opportunity ask questions.

The LCDS audition Toolkit sessions aim to provide a real experience of our stage one selection process by offering sessions in contemporary, improvisation and ballet taught by LCDS faculty members.   These sessions will insight and understanding of what to expect during the 2020-21 selections and there will be the opportunity to speak with and ask questions to the faculty.
