DANCEEAST CENTRE FOR ADVANCED TRAINING
LATE AUDITION FOR FUNDED PLACES
SATURDAY 18 SEPTEMBER

The DanceEast Centre for Advanced Training (CAT) offers high-quality teaching to young people aged 10 – 18 years who show lots of enthusiasm and great potential in dance. Students learn ballet, contemporary and creative dance and also take part in health classes to develop an understanding of their body and how to take care of it.

It’s really important to us that there are no financial barriers to accessing the CAT, therefore means-tested grants are available to support the costs of the programme.

SEPTEMBER 2021 ENTRY

There are spaces available for young people who are eligible for a funded place on our programme.

These grants ensure that any young person, regardless of access barriers, can enjoy high quality dance classes, exciting performance opportunities, workshops with professional companies and trips to the theatre. Grant holders can also claim funding to support travel and dancewear costs.

LATE AUDITIONS

Auditions are free to attend and are designed so that everyone can take part, regardless of dance experience. You will have a go at ballet, contemporary and creative dance, you can show us your favourite way to dance and have lots of fun!

Please note that the CAT 2021 Late Audition is open for students who qualify for a Music and Dance Scheme full or part grant.

Auditions will take place on Saturday 18 September.
