Attending a Centre for Advanced Training open day is essential if you’d like to be considered for a place on the scheme. Open days are a pre audition. Open days will be 3 hours in length and will take place during a morning or afternoon session at Northern School of Contemporary Dance (NSCD). Potential students will have the opportunity to take part in a contemporary technique class and a creative session. Previous dance experience is not necessary as we are looking for young people with enthusiasm, potential and commitment to training as a contemporary dancer. Please note that suitable candidates will be invited from the open day to audition for the Centre for Advanced Training.
